# Opening a Bank Account in Georgia for Belarusian Citizens

## What applicants should expect

Georgian banks must comply with applicable sanctions and their internal risk policies. The review may consider where you live and work, employers or companies, banks used, counterparties, source of funds and any links to sanctioned persons, entities or sectors.

- Employment or business documents

- Six months or more of statements where requested
